Harford Family House’s Permanent Supportive Housing program serves families and individuals experiencing homelessness who are navigating the added challenges of a diagnosed disability. This program offers a compassionate and stable foundation where families or individuals can feel safe, supported, and understood as they work toward a brighter future.

Through this program, individuals and families are provided stable housing in off-site apartment units, allowing them the time and security needed to focus on healing, growth, and long-term stability. We recognize that families affected by disability often face additional barriers, so our approach is flexible and individualized as they progress toward improved quality of life.
Every individual and family is paired with a dedicated case manager who walks alongside them on their journey. Together, they set personalized goals that may include accessing disability benefits, applying for subsidized housing, participating in supported employment opportunities, and stabilizing medical or mental health needs. With consistent guidance and care, individuals and families are empowered to build lasting stability and a place to truly call home.
