Homeruns for the Homeless is a homerun derby consisting of teams of four batters, men and women, competing to hit home runs. Each batter gets 15 swings from a pitching machine. Batters are scored on a scale of 10 points to 100 points. Homeruns are worth 100 points, fly balls landing on the warning track in the air are worth 50, fly balls hitting the homerun wall in the air are worth 75, fly balls landing in the outfield in the air are worth 25, and balls landing in the infield are worth 10. The teams and individuals with the highest point score will be awarded prizes.
